The organized waste gas in this project primarily originates from ethylene oxide (EO) emissions generated during the sterilization process. EO waste gas is first directed to a gas-liquid separator for water removal via the gas capture system. The dried gas then enters an atomization system for absorption, followed by delivery to a critical chemical absorption system. In the absorption tower, waste gas dissolves into the liquid first, then undergoes a hydration reaction catalyzed by sulfuric acid solution. The main reaction products include C₂H₆O₂, along with trace amounts of C₄H₁₀O₃, C₆H₁₄O₄, polyhydric alcohols, and micro-quantity polyester alcohols. Liquids carrying these products flow into a liquid collection tank. The liquid is recycled until reaching saturation, after which it is discharged. The treated gas is discharged from the tower top and sent to a subsequent collection tower. After processing by the washing tower, the gas meets emission standards and is released.
As the reaction liquid continuously undergoes hydration, the liquid level in the collection tank rises. Once the liquid reaches a specified height and concentration, our company can provide professional disposal services or rationalized treatment solutions and suggestions.
